What MindTube Does

MindTube is a Chrome extension that generates YouTube playlist suggestions from a mood, activity, artist, genre, or keyword entered by the user.

Data We Process

MindTube sends the prompt you type to its backend so it can generate song suggestions and find matching YouTube videos. The extension may store your recent playlists locally in Chrome storage on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

MindTube does not request access to your YouTube account, Google account, browsing history, contacts, emails, payment data, or files.

Third-Party Services

MindTube uses AI and YouTube-related APIs to generate playlist suggestions and video links. These services process requests only to provide the playlist result.

Ratings

If you rate a playlist, MindTube may send the mood, rating, and generated song list to its backend to improve playlist quality.
